A busy Burnham-On-Sea road came to a standstill on Monday afternoon (December 4th) after a two-car accident.
The tea-time collision, pictured, occurred in Oxford Street during wet and windy conditions.
It led to delays for commuters using the busy route as police temporarily closed off the road.
Police spokesman Ian Jury told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Two cars collided at 3.40pm, leaving the road closed for around half an hour while the emergency services attended the scene.”
Paramedics were also called to the incident, but police said the injuries of those involved were all believed to be “minor”.
