A new support group for breast cancer sufferers, family and their friends has launched in Burnham-On-Sea this month.
The first meeting of the Burnham Breast Cancer Support Group was held in the Somerset and Dorset pub’s upstairs room.
Further meetings will be held in the pub’s upstairs room on the third Wednesday of each calendar month, starting in January.
Organiser Sue Jefferies told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was very encouraging having so many people at our first meeting, and we all had a good time. The group is there to support sufferers, carers and their families.”
