Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club to hold ninth exhibition today

-

Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club’s ninth annual exhibition is set to be held on Saturday June 10th.

The group is holding its popular photography exhibition at Burnham-On-Sea Baptist Church in College Street, where a wide selection of photographs by its members will go on display.

Visitors will also get a chance to buy any photos that catch their eye and there will also be a free photo booth with props so that visitors can experiment in taking photos with their mobile phones.

The club will also be inviting the public’s comments about the photos/. They will be invited to vote for their favourite photos.

Camera Club Chairman Mike Lang said: “We are a sociable club, with a mix of professional images, and emerging talent, so come along and see us.”

The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 10th June, starting at 10amam with an official opening ceremony conducted by members of Burnham’s RNLI.

The show will be open until 3pm, but that depends largely on how busy the event is, says the club. Admission is free.

The Camera club is now in its 10th year and accommodates a members’ pool of all skill levels, ranging from absolute beginners to experts specialising in their respective fields.

It meets on Tuesday nights (from 7pm until 9pm) at Burnham Area Youth Centre in Cassis Close, Burnham-On-Sea (TA8 1NN).

Visitors are always welcome to pop in on club evenings. Regular competitions, organised trips, days out, and guest speakers are a feature of our club, plus access to wireless broadband internet.
