A beach near Burnham-On-Sea looked more like a Middle Eastern desert on Wednesday (November 12th) when a BBC camera team filmed a programme about camels.
The BBC’s Natural History Unit visited Berrow Beach where a programme featuring camel racing was filmed to test the skills of a new presenter they are trialling.
Tim Mander, Sedgemoor’s Strategic Property Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Whilst on this occasion the footage will not be broadcast, the choice of location once more illustrates the attractiveness and flexibility of the beach to film makers and the ongoing help and cooperation that Sedgemoor offers film and TV production companies.”
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported in June how Berrow Beach had been used to film a chariot race for a National Geographic TV show about Egyptian Pharaoh, Ramisses the Great.
