A Marie Curie book of remembrance visited Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (March 23rd) during a special event in a unique location.
The remembrance book was on show inside Burnham’s replica Old Railway Signal Box next to Old Station Approach.
“We welcomed anyone to come down and get one of our Marie Curie daffodil badges and share a memory of a loved one or draw a picture in the book,” said Marie Curie’s Riona Houghton, Community Fundraiser for Somerset.
“There was a chance to dress up as a daffodil and have photos taken to spread the message about our work. Our message is that every daffodil tells a story.”
Organisers said a “steady flow” of visitors headed to the event through the day and they will use the signal box again over the summer.
