Dozens of classic vehicles arrived on Burnham-On-Sea’s seafront on Saturday evening (June 1st) for the 26th annual Vale of Avalon Vintage Vehicle Road Run.
The popular event showcased a wide range of vintage vehicles, from cars, lorries and military vehicles, to emergency service cars and motorbikes.
William Bevan won the Mayor’s Choice Cup with his restored 1966 Mini Countryman, as pictured at the top of this page.
The run started as normal in Glastonbury and the vehicles then headed across the Somerset Levels to Burnham-On-Sea’s Pier Street Car Park on the South Esplanade, where crowds of spectators turned out.
The event has raised more than £45,000 for charities and good causes throughout its history.
