A well-known Burnham-On-Sea couple have celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with dozens of guests.
Dennis and Janet Davey celebrated their special milestone on Sunday 1st September at The Batch Country Hotel.
Dennis is a past Mayor of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge, and a past Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council. He is also a keen member of Burnham Rotary and a member of the BAY Centre management committee.
A party of 59 guests and relatives enjoyed a three-course meal, followed by musical entertainment.
During a short speech, Dennis thanked everyone for attending, noting some had travelled from long distances to celebrate the special day.
