Several fundraising coffee mornings will be held in Burnham-On-Sea as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Burnham’s Ritz Social Club will be holding its fundraising coffee morning today (Friday) between 11am-4pm with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support as part of their annual fundraiser.
Burnham-On-Sea Sailing Club is to host a fundraising event this Saturday (September 30th). The event at the club on the South Esplanade will be held from 11am-3pm.
Burnham’s Towans Care Home will hold a Tea and Cake day this afternoon (Friday) for its residents.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s nationwide Coffee Mornings began 30 years ago and have become one of the largest charity fundraising events of the year. The last event saw people around the country raise millions of pounds for Macmillan and the important work its people do in supporting families facing cancer.
