Burnham resident asks home owners to help him find cat missing for five days

-

A Burnham-On-Sea town centre resident has asked home owners to check garages and sheds to help find his cat which has been missing for five days.

Paul Thorne says grey cat, called Blue, went missing near the Ritz in Victoria Street.

He told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Is it possible to issue a big reminder to people about cats being locked in garages or sheds, especially with the lockdown.”

“My cat has gone missing and we have noticed an increase on the lost and found Facebook pages.”

“We are advised not to go knocking on neighbours’ doors due to the lockdown but need people to check. Please, please, please help.”

“My cat is called Blue. He is grey with a small white spot on his chest. He is neutered and wasn’t wearing his collar.”

“He has been missing since Sunday. We live in Victoria Street near the Ritz.”

“He is a total scaredy-cat and will hide if he sees people which makes me think he’s trapped. He never goes far but with everyone in their gardens on the weekend he was probably spooked.”
