Burnham-On-Sea’s Oxford Street was closed on Wednesday (August 28th) following a two-vehicle collision.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene, between Burnham’s Lidl supermarket and the junction with Adam Street, as pictured here.
A Great Western Air Ambulance landed on the nearby St Andrew’s School playing fields and it took off without a patient just after 3.35pm.
An ambulance service spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called at 2.36pm about a two-vehicle road traffic incident in Oxford Street, Burnham. Our crews treated four patients at the scene, and conveyed one of them to hospital for further care.”
A Police spokesman added: “We were called to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision at the junction of Oxford Street and Adam Street at about 2.45pm. There were no significant injuries.”
