Burnham-On-Sea’s Oasis Beauty Spa is celebrating winning the title of ‘business of the year’ at the 2019 South West Business and Community Awards.
Beauty Oasis Spa, who have four beauty salon branches across the South West in Burnham-On-Sea High Street, Weston, Winscombe and Clevedon, have been presented with the award at a ceremony.
Sarah Hallaran, the salon owner, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are honoured and proud to take this award.”
“All our staff have worked tirelessly to raise and maintain standards in our industry and prepare the next generation of Beauty Therapists for us.”
The South West Business and Community Awards judging process saw a range of entrepreneurs come together to scrutinise the finalists and select the short-listed nominees and winners from the 300+ nominations.
James Phipps, who was part of the judging panel, said: “Judging this year’s awards was tough. Every entry was of a very high standard and each one was unique which made the decision harder. I’m very proud of the quality of businesses that we have in this region and these awards give them the true recognition that they deserve.”
The awards evening was a huge success and raised thousands of pounds for three charities: Swindon 105.5 FM, Cherishers and Prostrate Cancer UK.
