A fundraising screening of The Greatest Showman at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Cinema has raised hundreds of pounds for the town’s BosFest music festival.
The audience was treated to a ‘flash mob performance’ from the Rock Choir of one the songs from the hit film before the screening began.
“It was a wonderful evening — many, many thanks to Pat, Beryl and their staff at The Ritz Cinema for kindly giving us this fundraising screening of The Greatest Showman,” said BosFest’s Tanya Dyer.
“Secondly, we like to thank Xander and the amazing Rock Choir of Clevedon, Weston super Mare, Burnham-On-Sea, Bridgwater and Taunton for making it such an extra special show!”
“Finally, our thanks also go to everyone who came along and supported us, raising an awesome £529 all of which will go directly into BosFest, which will be held on August 31st and 1st September here in Burnham.”
