Two young Burnham-On-Sea triathlon stars have represented the South West of England at the prestigious Inter-Regional National Triathlon Championships.
Macey Burge, 11, and Macy Noad, 12, from the Burnham Swim and Sports Academy team competed at the event in Mallory Park, Leicestershire at the weekend. Both are pupils from Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy.
The Academy’s Sara Cox Conklin said: “Huge congratulations to Academy Triathlon superstars Macey Burge and Macy Noad who were selected to represent the South West of England at the prestigious Inter-Regional National Triathlon Championships.”
“Macey B was selected to the mixed relay team, and Macy N competed in the individual event.”
“Both girls had phenomenal races, with Macy N breaking into the top 10 in the country with a fantastic 8th place overall! Well done girls!”
