The Burnham-On-Sea area experienced its hottest day of the year so far on Saturday (June 29th).
Temperatures reached 30.9°C (87.6°F) at 2.10pm before cooler winds blew in and thermometers fell 10°C in the space of 40 minutes.
The conditions still felt muggy with air humidity reaching 91% in Burnham at 10.30pm on Saturday evening.
Burnham’s beach was busy with sunbathers and families taking advantage of the balmy weather, as pictured here.
