A Burnham-On-Sea runner is set to run a marathon for a good cause close to his heart this weekend.
Richard Gwilt is taking part in the Exeter marathon on Sunday November 7th in aid of the Miscarriage Association.
“I’m running the event for the miscarriage association because of previous experiences and the charity helped me and my wife massively,” says Richard, pictured.
“My training has been good fun but also I am finding it hard to set the time and motivation to get out some days. I have never ran a marathon before so this will be my first one.”
The Miscarriage Association was founded in 1982 by a group of people who had experienced miscarriage and it offers support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy, to raise awareness and to promote good practice in medical care.
