Members of Burnham-On-Sea Rugby Club and their families have worked together to clean up the club’s facilities during a special day ahead of the new season.
The club’s Tim Piper said: “Great work by all. Rails have been painted, paths swept, changing rooms cleaned and sorted out and kit sorted ready for pre season.”
“Little jobs like these from our volunteers make a massive difference to keeping the club looking good. ”
“Big thanks to Sally Flack, Gilly Hicks, Stephen Hall, Sarah Hall, Samantha Timms, David Timms, Tim James, Neil Harding, Samuel Wall, Sam Lewis, Adam Peters, Mo Hunt along with all the kids for their help in getting the club all neat and tidy ready for the season ahead.”
The event was held as part of NatWest RugbyForce, a nationwide programme that helps grassroots rugby clubs up and down the country attract new members and become stronger and more sustainable for the future.
