Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club takes 24 pupils and teachers to Crealy Adventure Park

-

Year 4 children from East and West Huntspill Primary Schools and their teachers have enjoyed a day trip to Crealy Adventure Park near Exeter, sponsored by Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club.

It was held as part of the Rotary Club’s national annual ‘Kids Out’ day when every June, the Rotary International, together with KidsOut, takes over 25,000 children on a fun day out.

The children visit the seaside, theme parks, adventure playgrounds and zoos, giving them all wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime.

The 24 local children were able to sample all the rides and had packed lunches before the coach back in time to be met and go home after school.

Some of the Year 4 children’s comments showed they’d had a day to remember. Josh said: ‘Crealy was the best trip I have ever been on!’ George added: ‘My favourite was everything! It was the best school day of my life.’

Teacher Mrs Brown added: “What a lovely way to spend a day with some of the wonderful children in my class. It was great to have only one target to achieve, and that was to enjoy ourselves, which we certainly did!  Thank you very much to all involved.”
