Burnham-On-Sea Police give road safety tips to pupils during Road Safety Week

-

Burnham-On-Sea Police have been visiting local schools to give pupils safety advice as part of a road safety week initiative.

PCSO Mike Shaw visited West Huntspill Primary School, as pictured here, where he gave road safety tips to the youngsters and also answered their questions.

Road Safety Week is the UK’s biggest road safety event, coordinated annually by Brake, the road safety charity.

The annual Road Safety Week aims to inspire thousands of schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and promote life-saving messages during the Week and beyond.

It also provides a focal point for professionals working in road safety to boost awareness and engagement in their work.
