Police have confirmed this week that a man has been arrested after a stabbing in Burnham-On-Sea earlier in the month.
As we reported here, Police were called shortly before 1am on Friday, October 11th following reports of a “serious incident” outside The Old Pier Tavern in Pier Street.
A man in his 30’s was arrested and has been released under investigation and Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We can confirm that we are investigating a stabbing incident which was reported to us shortly before 1am on October 11.”
“A man in his 30s has been arrested and released under investigation. Police enquiries into the incident are continuing. Anyone with information to help us is asked to contact us quoting 5219235327.”
