Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church was decorated with scores of colourful floral displays at the weekend to celebrate its 140th anniversary.
Visitors headed to the church in Burnham’s College Street over three days to see the colourful flower displays that were created by people living in Burnham-On-Sea.
Organiser Dorothy May from Burnham Methodist Church told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a wonderful display that attracted lots of positive comments, and we were delighted to raise £390 for church funds.”
Deputy Mayor Cllr Bill Hancock and Deputy Mayoress Frances opened the display. Cllr Hancock said: “Everyone put in a fantastic effort – there were so many super displays.”
