Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church is celebrating its 140th year with a flower festival this weekend.
The church, in College Street, is decorated with scores of colourful blooms and is open for viewing on Saturday June 22nd from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and Sunday June 23rd from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Refreshments are available and all donations will go towards church funds.
Visitors will be encouraged to photograph the floral displays for a competition to be judged by Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club. The winners will be displayed at a photo exhibition in the church on Saturday 20th July.
On Sunday 23rd June, the Methodist Church will also hold a celebratory Songs Of Praise at 5.00pm led by the Rev. Steve Bennett, pictured below.
