Burnham-On-Sea’s Lloyd’s Bank branch has been temporarily closed this week to allow contractors to fumigate the premises after reported problems with fleas.
The bank in Burnham High Street has been shut for two days, with closure posters put on its windows apologising to customers.
The posters state the premises is closed “due to the branch having to be fumigated”.
It adds: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to be open as soon as possible.”
A Lloyds spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Due to unexpected maintenance work, the Burnham on Sea branch is currently closed.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers and hope to reopen the branch as soon as possible.”
