Lloyds Bank’s branch in Burnham-On-Sea re-opened on Tuesday (October 8th) after “unexpected maintenance work” led to a fortnight-long closure.
The bank, at the corner of the High Street and College Street, was initially closed for “fumigation work” amid reports of a flea outbreak.
However, the branch did not re-open after a couple of days as expected, and its staff placed posters in its windows warning of the ongoing work, as pictured below.
A Lloyds Bank spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com that “due to unexpected maintenance work,” it was closed.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.”
