A series of monthly coffee mornings has launched in Burnham-On-Sea to raise funds for the town’s hospital.
The regular coffee mornings for the Friends of Burnham Hospital are being held on the third Saturday of every month at Burnham’s Methodist Church in College Street throughout 2019, as pictured here.
“We are hugely grateful to the Methodist Church for choosing the Friends of Burnham Hospital as their charity this year to benefit from the coffee mornings,” Ceri Joyce, Vice Chairman of the group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We shall be serving tea/coffee, biscuits and cakes, holding a raffle and selling quality goods including jigsaws, hand crafted cards, and notelets.”
“We do hope local people will join us and bring any unwanted gifts for us to sell. All proceeds will go to the hospital.”
