Burnham-On-Sea Gig Rowing Club pulls together to help healthcare workers

Members of Burnham-On-Sea Gig Rowing Club have been making washable uniform bags, ear protectors and hats for healthcare workers hard at work during the Coronavirus pandemic.

A club spokeswoman added: “Club members are still busy making more items to give to healthcare workers.”

“Several of our rowers work for the NHS, and we are pleased to be able to support them and their colleagues with our sewing skills, whilst we are unable to get out and row.”
