Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called out on Friday (October 29th) to tackle a small fire at a seafront property.
Crews were called to the North Esplanade at 3.25pm, as pictured here.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This was a fire within a bay window – fortunately the occupier extinguished the main fire, but we then had to cut away and expose around it to extinguish hot spots and where it was smouldering in the floor above.”
“There was also a small amount of water damage to the flat below.”
The incident was caused accidentally whilst using paint stripper, added the spokesman.
