A Burnham-On-Sea estate agent has sponsored the lifeboat station’s fundraising ball this month.
Jeremy Bell, a partner at Burnham-based agents Greenslade Taylor Hunt, visited Burnham RNLI lifeboat station to present a cheque for £800 towards the event, which was held on Saturday (19th October) at the Batch Country Hotel in Lympsham.
Jeremy said: “We have had an Estate Agent’s office based in Burnham-On-Sea since 1831, and we thought that it would be only right to sponsor our local RNLI lifeboat station.”
Launch Authority Phil Counsell said: “We thank Jeremy for this sponsorship which demonstrates recognition of our position within the community. The ball is a very important event for our station.”
