A condolence book has been opened at Burnham-On-Sea Community Centre for residents to record their condolences and memories of a community-spirited resident who has sadly died.
As reported here, Ken Hindle, 90, passed away in Weston Hospital on Thursday (March 20th) after a brief period of illness.
Ken was heavily involved with Burnham Community Centre and the BAY Centre over six decades of community work, plus others groups.
David Norton, Chairman of Burnham Community Centre, says: “Ken was such an important person for the community centre that our committee has decided to mark his passing by opening a book of condolence to allow all those who knew him to formally record their condolences and memories.”
“The book will be open for signing this Sunday from 12pm-3pm, on Tuesday 10-12, Thursday 9.30am-12pm, and the following Sunday from 12-3pm.”
He adds: “Ken was well known by so many people in the town and many will want to formally thank him and mark his life.”
