Burnham-On-Sea Comic Con set to return to town centre this summer

-

Fans of Batman, Star Wars, Superman and other comic book heroes will be heading to Burnham-On-Sea this summer when the town’s second Comic Con is held.

Organisers have announced this week that the event – which was first held in Burnham-On-Sea in 2017 and attracted over 1,000 people – will be held on Saturday 17th August, starting from 10am.

Organiser Jade Parkes told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the event will return bigger and better this year, being located at Burnham’s Princess Theatre.

She added: “So far 95% of our VIP guests and exhibitors will be returning. We will also have a new VIP guest actor, Clem So, who has been in Guardian’s of the Galaxy, James Bond, Jurrassic World and Crimes of Griswalk to name but a few of his films.”

“There will also be video games, table top games, stalls, guests and props to see through the day.”
And a new addition will be a ‘Cosplay Masquerade’ when visitors of all ages will be invited up on stage to take part in skits on stage, have photo’s taken, as part of a competition.”
Tickets have just gone on sale for the event, by clicking here.
