Award-winning Burnham-On-Sea cake maker Dusica Roberts is set to open her own shop in the town centre.
Dusica, pictured with one of her incredible winning cake creations that won a silver award at the prestigious Cake International Awards in 2018, is to open a new store at 14 Oxford Street in Burnham later this year.
Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, she said: “I have been running DusiCake for a number of years as a home business with already great support from local people.”
“Recently the opportunity came up to take on a vacant shop in Burnham-On-Sea and I thought this would be a great time to expand and offer my cakes to a wider audience.”
“The new cake shop is going to be the headquarters for DusiCake, I will continue to create wedding and celebration cakes and happy couples will now be able to visit for cake tasting consultations too.”
“Daily, I will be offering luxury cake and cupcakes in a range of flavours and toppngs also refreshments with a area to relax and socialise with friends.”
“Gluten free and vegan cake options will also be available daily. We have a lot of work and decorating to do but my aim is to be open within a couple of months.”
