Burnham-On-Sea cake and coffee lounge granted licence to serve alcohol

-

A Burnham-On-Sea cake and coffee lounge has been given permission to start serving alcohol, enabling it to offer glasses of bubbly with afternoon teas.

Dusicake in Burnham’s Abingdon Street has been granted an alcohol licence by Somerset Council, enabling it to launch a new drinks menu alongside its afternoon teas.

Owner Dusica Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m extremely delighted to have been granted a license.”

“We decided to apply after many of our customers saying they’d like to enjoy a glass of bubbly with their afternoon tea.”

“Coming to our cake and coffee lounge is an experience in itself and the addition of the license can now make visiting extra special!”

Earlier this month, we reported here that Dusica had won best in show at the prestigious Cake International Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
