Burnham-On-Sea’s St Andrews Church and community group Hands of Change have teamed up to launch a new venture with a specially designed game featuring life and attractions in Burnham-On-Sea.
Called ‘Burnham On Board’, it is a new games morning held at St Andrew’s Church on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 10-11.30am.
Open to all, the morning is an opportunity to make friends, enjoy tea and toast whilst chatting and playing popular board games.
Rev Sharon Eldergill told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The idea for a games morning was suggested by a friend.”
“It’s a good way for people to get out of the house and meet people, and keep our brains active in a fun way.”
“We are especially pleased to be alongside Hands of Change in this venture, who are well known for their community outreach throughout Burnham-On-Sea.”
“The new Burnham-On-Sea game, designed by Kay Barrett, founder member of Hands Of Change, was a great success, unique to Burnham on Board, and a fun and interesting way to learn more about our town. I’m sure it’s going to be a regular feature!”
