Burnham-On-Sea Baptist Church has a new look this week in readiness for its children’s holiday club which starts on Tuesday August 27th.
The church’s helpers have transformed the interior into a beach (with its own jetty), an alpine mountain region, a cave, a rocky road and a jungle!
A spokesperson said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our young epic explorers on Tuesday — it’s going to be a fun-packed week with stories, drama, songs and messy games.”
“It’s a great opportunity to make new friends before going back to school.”
“There are still spaces available so if you have kids aged between 4 – 11 years old, you can sign up on our website at only £5 per child for the whole week! Doors open at 10am and pick up is 12:15pm.”
“We also have a junk modelling afternoon on the Wednesday for the whole family to get creative, and to finish off a great week, we’re throwing a party Friday evening for the whole family, with food and a bouncy slide included!”
