Burnham-On-Sea author Lewis Coleman bringing new play to the stage this Saturday

-

Burnham-On-Sea author Lewis Coleman is bringing his latest play to the stage at the town’s Princess Theatre this weekend.

‘Dream Boy’ is a comedy drama being performed by the Princess Theatre Company on Saturday June 8th about a close family coming terms with loss.

Writer Lewis Coleman says: “It’s quite moving at times but I also wanted to have a bit of fun with the madness of dreams.”

“Cal’s sister, Rosie, happens to be studying a psychology degree, so she’s always trying to find hidden meanings, much to Cal’s irritation.”

Lead actor Jack Kesterton adds: “I play Cal and he keeps having these weird dreams.  He keeps having a recurring dream about the classic 80’s film Uncle Buck, which is odd because he’s never heard of it, but his sister and grandad know better.”

The Princess Theatre Company’s Chairman, Ollie Hulme, adds: “We’ve been going for a few years now, so we know each other pretty well and have a lot of fun.”

The play comes to the Princess Theatre on Saturday June 8th for one night only. Tickets are priced at £6 and are available from the Box Office on 01278 784464.
