Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council has this week invited applications for grant funding from community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations in the two towns.
The grant funding can be used to support the cost of a capital project, such as purchasing equipment or works to buildings, or it can be towards the general running costs, or to deliver a community event.
This year’s deadline for all grant applications is 26th August 2019.
Town Council Clerk Sam Winter said: “Burnham-On-Sea & Highbridge Town Council is keen to support its communities by delivering funding to community initiatives that directly benefit the area where it is most needed. In the most recent round of grants, over £14,000 was awarded to 8 local groups.”
