Hundreds of people shunned the traditional rush to the Boxing Day sales to enjoy the fresh air on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Thursday.
Families walked off their Christmas excesses, taking full advantage of the dry weather to stretch their legs and walk dogs, as pictured here.
Burnham-On-Sea beach was busier than usual on Boxing Day, and there were similar scenes at Brean and Berrow. The National Trust’s Brean Down car park was also full for much of the day.
