Burnham-On-Sea, Brean and Berrow beaches were busy with large numbers of families walking off their Christmas excesses on Tuesday.
The mild, dry weather led to these busy scenes along local beaches as people stretched their legs and walked dogs, as pictured here.
Dave Furber, beach warden at Brean, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the beach had been “very busy” all day, adding that 120 vehicles had parked on the beach by mid-afternoon.
The National Trust’s Brean Down car park was also full to capacity for much of the day.
It comes as very wet and windy weather is forceast for the Burnham-On-Sea area today with a warning for possible disruption.
