Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s King Alfred Concert Band will be performing a Christmas concert in West Huntspill this month.
The Friends of St. Peter and All Hallows Church will host the event on Saturday 9th December at 7pm.
“The band will be playing a selection of Christmas music including classics and more recent music such as the Fairy Tale of New York,” says a spokesperson.
“There will be a mince pie and tea or coffee for everyone – and a Wine Bar will be available.”
Tickets are priced at £7.50 (children free) and are available from www.friendsofspaahc.org or Anne on 07557 103443, plus on the door on the night.
Funds raised go towards projects improving the fabric of the building, which have previously paid for the repair of one of the windows. The current project is to help with a handrail in the church tower.
