Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society to perform Spring Concert this Saturday

Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society are set to perform the music of Handel’s Messiah at their Spring Concert on Saturday 26th April.

The performance is being held at St Andrew’s Church in Burnham at 7:30pm with refreshments being served at the interval.

Tickets, priced £12.50 for adults and £5 for children, are available from Material Needs and the Choir’s website plus choir members or purchased on the door.

They will be joined by four professional soloists: Soprano – Siona Stockel, Alto – Stephen Harvey, Tenor – Matthew Minter, Bass – Christopher Sheldrake and an Orchestral Ensemble.

They will be Conducted by the choir’s talented Musical Director, James Davies, and accompanied by Pianist John Bodiley.

The choir will be having a Summer Sing and are inviting all who love singing, to join them. The Summer Sing will start on Thursday 8th May at 7:30pm for six weeks at the Methodist Church in College Street, Burnham.  “It will be a wonderful opportunity to put that good feeling of music into your day, along with friendly people to guide you.”
