Burnham Police urge residents to step up security after break-ins

-

Burglars have targeted four homes during recent weeks in the area with mobile phones and tablet computers among the items stolen.

“In several cases, the thieves gained entry via patio doors at the rear of the buildings,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Police are advising residents to check that their gardens and rear doors are locked and secure.”

Several of the incidents occurred on the Morland Estate in Highbridge and surrounding areas.

Anyone who sees people acting suspiciously should contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
