A police helicopter and officers from Burnham-On-Sea were called to search a building site next to the Highbridge Hotel this week in a search for two intruders.
Police were called to the former cattle market site shortly late on Thursday night (May 29th).
Avon and Somerset police spokesman Craig Evry told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were called to the building site besides the hotel just after 11pm where a member of the public had seen two men acting suspiciously with torch lights.”
“A team of officers and a police helicopter was deployed to search the area, but no-one was found and nothing had been stolen.”
Police have asked the public to call 101 if they see any further suspicious activities at the site.
