A group of brave students took a New Year’s Day dip in the sea at Brean to mark the start of 2024.
The youngsters drew a crowd of onlookers on Monday morning (January 1st), said the beach warden.
“The students from Bristol ran into the sea on a challenge despite the bitterly cold water temperature and bracing wind – before heading off for a warm-up!”
Beaches in Brean, Berrow and Burnham-On-Sea were busy with New Year walkers. Several hundred vehicles were parked on Brean and Berrow beaches during the day.
