A group of Berrow Brownies have completed their first aid badges after receiving expert advice from local St John Ambulance volunteers.
Two of the team from Highbridge and Burnham St John Ambulance attended the group’s meetings.
Tawny Owl Pat Weller told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The Brownies learned who to call in an emergency and the procedures involved. They also found out about the recovery position, dressing bandaged cuts and how to treat burns. The older Brownies were also shown how to do resuscitation.”
“All the Brownies did well in completing the elements involved and they were presented with their First Aid Badges. We also presented Sarah and Diane from St Ambulance with a badge too.”
