A wide range of fesh meat, cheese and vegetables will be on sale when Brent Knoll holds its monthly village market this weekend.
The event, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month, will be held on Saturday March 10th.
“Make a regular date to come along and stock up on healthy, local produce,” spokesman Bob Filmer told Burnham-On-sea.com. “It’s a real village event with a chance to meet, chat, buy and eat all in the heart of a local village.”
“The market is held in Brent Knoll Parish Hall from 10am to noon and stalls will be selling fresh beef, lamb, chicken, cheese and vegetables.”
“There are also plants, pickles, preserves and cakes, jewellery, a large range of books, plus locally made cards and crafts. The parish café will also be serving drinks and light snacks.”
Entrance is free and to book a table contact Jean Owen on 01278 760654. Tables cost £6 each with proceeds going to the Brent Knoll Parish Hall, a registered charity.
