Big crowds flocked to Brent Knoll’s annual summer fete on Saturday (June 14th).
The spectators were treated to an afternoon of traditional music, games and stalls plus entertainment.
Organiser John Page told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a fantastic afternoon – the school dancers put on an excellent display of traditional country dancing and the superb weather brought out the crowds.”
Over 20 stalls were set up around the village green, selling crafts, cakes, bric-a-brac, books and cards alongside a bottle stall, raffle and coconut shy. This year’s event had a theme of the wild west and was opened by Major John Harper, pictured below, whose mother previously opened the same event 30 years before.
