Dozens take part in traditional Spring race to the top of Brent Knoll

-

Dozens of youngsters have taken part in the annual Spring run to the top of Brent Knoll and back.

The traditional race, held on Saturday (April 26th), started outside the village’s primary school and saw more than 70 children make their way to the top of the hill and back.

Each youngster collected a numbered lolly stick at the top and when back at the school were able to claim an Easter egg.

The event was held on the same day at the school’s Easter fayre, when a number of fundraising stalls and attractions were set up in the school.
