Members of The Siobhan Johnson Singers, Brent Knoll School and Burnham Youth Choir joined forces for a unique ‘Summer Nights’ concert in Brent Knoll on Saturday (30th June), raising over £500 for the village’s school.
An audience of over 100 people filled St Michael’s Church to watch the three groups performing together for the first time at a concert.
Siobhan Johnson, who teaches the groups, said: “It was a fun-packed, entertaining evening. The children were utterly amazing and so brave to step up and perform.”
“It was so lovely to see all ages gather together outside school hours and looking so smart and dapper!”
The show included a piano, recorder and guitar players, a group instrumental ensemble, a school choir, solo and duet singers, a musical theatre medley mash ups with music from the musicals and films. Over £500 was raised on the night.
