Brean’s Coast Road is set to be closed for three days from Monday October 14th while resurfacing work is carried out.
A full diversion will be in place for traffic heading through the village and the works are expected to last three days with a closure in place during the daytime.
A spokesman for Somerset County Council said: “Essential resurfacing works in Brean are taking place with a road closure in place from Monday to Wednesday between 7.30am and 5pm.”
“Road closures are always a last resort and this work has been planned outside of the main holiday season to minimise disruption as much as possible. Advance warning signs are in place and a full diversion will be signposted.”
The full road closure notice is available here.
