Brean Leisure Park is investing £1.8 million in building a new children’s indoor play centre which is set to open this summer.
The new indoor soft play centre – to be called Brean Play – will feature a large indoor children’s play area with three designated areas aimed at children aged from 0-11.
The new facilities next to the Brean Splash waterpark will also create up to 15 new jobs.
Brean Leisure Park director Sarah House told Burnham-On-Sea.com that construction work has been slightly delayed and that the opening is now scheduled for July.
The facilities will be open all year round and will feature a large café with a spectating area and five party rooms on the mezzanine level.
“The extension of Brean Splash will also see the addition of a shallow fun pool and a number of new water-slides and features for children,” added a spokesman.
“The area will create an additional fun element to what is currently on offer at Brean Splash.”
