Today: Brean Play to celebrate its fifth anniversary with a family fun day

-

Brean Play is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary with a family fun day, which will raise money for a regional charity.

Taking place on Saturday 27th July, the event will provide general play, as well as a mini disco, face painting, a teddy tombola, a table top sale of babies and children’s clothes and toys, and the chance to meet the Holiday Resort Unity characters Buster, Sally and Huey the Pigs.

All five-year-olds receive free admission, and their entry fee will also be donated to the charity Above & Beyond.

Sarah House, Director at Brean Play, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Each year within the business we raise lots of money for a range of local charities through different fundraising events.”

“We are looking to raise over £6,000 for the charity over the next few months and are encouraging visitors to the resort and attractions to help through various fundraising initiatives over the next few months.”

“Four of our very own ‘Team Brean’ employees are embarking on an epic 480km cycle challenge in September to raise money for the charity too.”

Saturday’s event will be held throughout the day and usual parking and admission fees apply.

The charity Above & Beyond funds projects that make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff that treat them in Bristol city centre hospitals.
